Today marked the kickoff of restaurant week in Boise, whoop whoop! Cole and I have gotten to experience restaurant week in Atlanta and Miami and it is awesome. During the week restaurants agree to offer prix fixe menus at prices that you wouldn't normally get. It is an awesome way to eat at expensive restaurants and also to get multiple courses.
Tonight Cole and I kicked off restaurant week at Superb Sushi. We haven't eaten at this sushi restaurant yet and restaurant week gave us the little nudge to do so. For $ 15 we each got two sushi rolls and miso soup. This isn't necessarily the best restaurant week deal, but we did save some money and had we ordered different rolls we could have saved up to $8 each. The sushi was awesome and we are interested in going back for more. I even branched out and had a hawaiian roll that was made with tuna, cucumber, wasabi whipped cream, pineapple and a sweet chili sauce. It was tasty!
If you are interested in restaurant week see the link below. There is a list of all the participating restaurants along with their prix fix menus. Bon appetit!
